HS Programme

B.P. Chaliha College, Nagarbera offers a two-year Higher Secondary (HS) course in Arts and Science streams under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) (erstwhile Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC)
SUBJECTS OFFERED IN THE ARTS STREAM: English, MIL (Assamese/Alternative English), Arabic, History, Political Science, Education, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, Computer Science and Bihu/ Agriculture.
SUBJECTS OFFERED IN THE SCIENCE STREAM: English, MIL (Assamese/Alternative English), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), Computer Science, Geography, Economics and Statistics.
Students at the HS level (Arts and Science) are also allowed to take admission into various self-financed certificate and diploma courses run by different departments or centres of the college.

Arts Stream: 250
Science Stream: 100

For HS 1st Year (both Arts and Science) admission, students are advised to go through the ASSEB guidelines and ensure registration through the DARPAN portal. The last date for application and admission is strictly followed in our college as specified by ASSEB through the DARPAN portal.
